My name is Annie. I am a wife, mother, and lover of all things handmade. I have been sewing since the age of 5 and I have been surrounded by sewists and makers my whole life. My mom designed and sewed wedding dresses and my grandparents owned an upholstery shop. Some of my fondest memories as a child had to do with sewing/making in one form or another. I made a ton of scrunchies and pillows as a kid! I was lucky enough to learn how to sew on industrial sewing machines and to this day, I would rather poke myself in the eye than sew on a home machine. I have been designing and drafting patterns for as long as I can remember. From clothes for my dolls as a child to home decor patterns for my bedding company (now closed) and everything in between. I have designed and drafted over 20 children's clothing patterns for Little Lizard King, one of the leading PDF pattern companies. I plan to use this blog to showcase my work, share tips and techniques I have picked up over the years, and to offer some free patterns now and then. View more posts
